Statement from the Candidate

In 2010 I ran an unsuccessful campaign for the United States Congress, but I'm still posting blogs that I believe express an opinion that most other people miss, and that I also believe can make America great again and cast off the yoke of liberal/progressive control that is currently in place.

As Usual, Obama Blames America and Americans First

Obama's comments following the killing of the American ambassador in Libya blamed Mitt Romney's comments about the Obama administration's incompetence more harshly than he did the killers of the ambassador. And then, having made his pronouncement, Obama's off on a campaign speech.  Is there no shame in this fool man?  Why not stay in Washington and make certain that other embassies in the world are safe for the workers at those sites instead of campaigning and fund-raising for your re-election?  It's a good thing he didn't have a golf game scheduled for tomorrow or he'd be out on the links while the ambassador's body lies in state.

Hey Barry, park the damned 747, stop campaigning during a national crisis and an international outrage and try being a president for a change!

Democrats Deny God And Israel

Democrats have unintentionally told us their real positions on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution by dropping any reference to God from their party's 2012 platform.  This was not an accidental elimination of the reference to God, but was an intentional, planned, coordinated and deliberate modification to their previous platforms, and it was a pleasure watching the delegates to their convention squirm to add the reference back to the platform, and all of this while the world watched on live television.  The importance to Americans to the idea of God being central to our lives and liberty is that Republican Americans believe that God gave us liberty and freedom, and that government must have limited and defined powers over us, whereas Democrats believe in government being the guiding and controlling being over our lives. This is a critical distinction and one that Americans dismiss at their peril.

This was a great opportunity for Americans to understand the real attitude of Barack Obama and the modern Democrat party: they say all the correct, traditional, patriotic things in public, but will undermine tradition and patriotism behind closed doors with no one watching them.

Also dropped from the 2012 DNC platform was a reference to Jerusalem and its importance to Israel.  Although Obama gives lip service to being an ally of Israel (because he desperately needs Jewish votes), his own actions and the dropping of Jerusalem from the platform speaks the truth about any ties Obama feels toward Israel: he has none!

From An Empty Suit To An Empty Chair

Clint Eastwood did a great service to liberty at the Republican Convention by brilliantly defining the empty suit that is Barack Obama as being an empty chair.

Under Obama joblessness has increased; race-relations have worsened; education scores have gotten worse; family income has decreased; energy security has lessened; there's been no Constitutionally required Federal budget for well over 1000 days; the national debt has sky-rocketed; tax-payers are still owed billions of dollars by the illegally nationalized General Motors;  Solyndra-like loan guarantees are still being discovered anew and will be a burden to tax-payers for decades to come; the Gun walker scandal is getting worse; the Keystone pipeline that Obama lyingly stated he was pushing toward approval has still not begun yet, and won't begin as long as Obama is in office; regulations are still being imposed on businesses at a staggering rate; executive orders still flow at a record level, imposing unconstitutional burdens on Americans; Obamacare is still making headlines with new costs and regulations being discovered that will destroy healthcare in America and bankrupt the nation. Whether the subject is gender, race or income level, Obama has divided and impoverished America and appears to be proud of it.

In November, if Americans don't assure that the empty suit that Clint Eastwood represented with the empty chair does not become an Oval Office empty of Barack Obama, our nation will suffer for decades to come and our children will never enjoy the liberty we've known all our lives.
