We Are Now “Mitigating” Our Own National Economy Into Dust

The word mitigation is now the most over-used word in the English vocabulary. Its original application was describing the flattening of the curve which is used to indicate the growth of the coronavirus and its negative impact on the healthcare industry. The famous and over-used Democrat “modeling” charts predicted hospitals would be overwhelmed and would be unable to handle the demand this vicious virus placed on it, so the government scientists said the nation had to completely shutdown in order to choke the disease and halt its spread. This modeling led directly to the shut down of our economy and the loss of tens of millions of jobs. But regardless of the faulty Democrat modeling, the Wuhan disease proved to be much less fatal than our government scientists predicted.

And now that we’ve seen the spread of the disease level off, the radical political left wants to continue to strangle the economy with further restrictions on jobs and personal freedom, for another three months in some locations, based on the even more idiotic “modeling” and false prediction that the disease will resurge soon, or at the latest this fall, and will combine with the normal cold and flu season to devastate the nation.

I would advance the notion that our nation has already been devastated and that further destroying our economy will certainly not help the situation when families’ house payments are not met and when retirement funds have been spent on food during these jobless months.

The virus is now the political lefts’ version of global warming. For the last 50 years we’ve been frightened by Democrats predicting a new ice age, followed by global warming, then climate change, and we’ve been assured that using our air conditioners and driving our cars have been the cause of this certain death-by-burning. It’s all our fault, say the radical Democrats, and the government should get involved in our personal lives to stop us from participating in these capitalist practices.

For the dual causes of, initially, climate change, and now to help stop the Wuhan virus from spreading, Democrats insist that Americans must change the way we live our lives, which means staying in our homes, not driving, not traveling, not eating out, all of which is making America a third world country. And all the while, the Democrats in the House of Representatives are passing new, multiple-trillion-dollar bills that will fund their pro-immigration, anti-capitalist and unconstitutional notions of how America should become, all under the pretense of bridging the income gap that many out-of-work Americans are experiencing. Big brother will house and feed you, the Democrats say, so sit back, stop working and trust us.

And don’t worry about the lost income and the bankrupt IRAs, because Pelosi and Schumer are there for you. Per the Democrat party, the chaos will never end and we’ll all die if we don’t follow their radical instructions and drive our nation off a cliff.

Democrat Dependence on “Modeling” Is As Anti-Scientific As It Gets

Democrats and their allies in the leftist press have long resented and ridiculed anyone with strong religious leanings, and have been especially critical of President Trump and his pro-religious statements. They’ve also lately extended their religious intolerance to the field of science, telling everyone who would listen to their blather that the religious right, and, of course, especially President Trump, is anti-science. But one doesn’t have to look far at radical leftist policies and programs to discover a disregard, if not an outright hate, for science and scientific processes and procedures, and the best example of anti-science is the left’s dependence on various forms of modeling to prove their political points.

The Democrats’ global warming/climate change farce is a direct attack on science because it’s based on a pre-programmed set of parameters, in other words, a “model”, designed to produce its inevitable outcome, and completely eliminates peer review and scientific validation and testing. Democrats built a computer system that makes certain assumptions about the future, all of which are confirmed by the data they input, and the predictable outcome produces the “scientific evidence”  that they want. They claim that this outcome proves the earth is warming, even though we all know that the highest temperatures last summer were no higher than the temperatures two summers ago, and the summer ten years ago. And still these fools, who have been predicting devastatingly high temperatures for fifty years culminating in the eventual death of all beings on the planet, recently announced the latest date-of-death from the office of the Dumbo we know as AOC, as being ten and a half years in the future.

Then we arrive at the modeling performed by the medical community related to the subject of the coronavirus. The good technicians and doctors, good and faithful government employees all, established certain criteria to prove that millions of Americans would die of the Wuhan death pandemic, and VOILA!, the model produced the desired outcome demonstrating that millions of Americans face death from the Chinese disease, and our entire economy was closed down, hard and fast, based on this false information.

Thinking people are expected to forget, of course, that we’ve only seen a .03 percent death-rate resulting from the disease, and that the greatest number of deaths occurred in populations that remained inactive and indoors, which the mainly Democrat governors and mayors had ordered. On the other hand, the states that allowed the most personal liberty and freedom to move about, get sunshine and exercise, were the least impacted by the disease.

And then we saw the repeat phenomena of individuals on the left immediately condemning anything President Trump said, even when his statements were from the sound foundation of science. Trump said hydroxychloroquine, an existing drug used for decades that had been found to be successful in halting the coronavirus destruction to human bodies, may be useful in fighting the disease, and the leftist press exploded, saying that he was obsessed with this drug and that it had no use against the current virus, even though it was being prescribed by many doctors and was having great success saving patient’s lives, which is the most valuable and important evidence of the scientific proof of its effectiveness. The anti-Trump statements from the left about an anti-science, political right, were themselves purely political and were made in contradiction of proven, in-service, science.

Gov. Cuomo Condemns New Yorkers To Wuhan Deaths With His Executive Orders

As the chief officer in New York State, and as the chief Democrat plotter among Democrat governors in America, Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued stay-at-home orders to the citizens of his state that doomed them from the outset of the coronavirus invasion. We now know that sixty-six percent of deaths in New York State were from shut-ins whom the good governor ordered to stay inside where they did not get any exercise, did not get any fresh air, and did not get the cleansing health benefit of sunshine. The social-distancing thing proves one undeniable truth: if you obey Democrat orders, you’re likely to suffer and die.

In addition, the wise governor order people who were suffering from the coronavirus to be placed in nursing homes along-side older, existing residents of the establishments who were otherwise healthy, until Cuomo inserted himself in the mix and decided the nursing home was a better place for those suffering from a disease than a hospital was. The result was that many otherwise healthy older Americans, resident in the buildings, were killed by the disease that the governor knew was more deadly to older people. Despite Cuomo’s Forrest Gump presentation and phrasing and his running-off at the mouth about how he loved his mother, visited his mother, missed him mother, he still made a decision that killed other people’s mothers.

And when you add to this national tragedy the fact that our economy is in ruins and people are losing their homes due to lack of income, all because of a governor or mayor ordering the shutdown of homes and businesses, one hopes that it will be recalled that the Democrats own this shame, and all because they want to halt Trump’s November re-election to the presidency. Some Democrat officials have even extended the shutdown for a longer interval in order to cause more chaos and damage to America.

Democrats and the far left press have been accusing President Trump of causing the spread of the coronavirus, all of which accusations were the usual lies from the left, but now we have Democrat Andrew Cuomo issuing orders that led directly and provably to many deaths of older people, but the press is silent on the issue.

Then we have the case in Texas where a leftist judge imprisoned a woman for “selfishness” when she opened her salon in order to pay her bills and to gain employment for her employees. Typical of all leftists is their insistence that you do as they say, even if what they say is contrary to the constitution and common sense, or they will punish you severely. This issue also points out how completely stupid Democrats are: the judge would deny the woman’s access to healthy sunshine, work and exercise while at work, and shut her up in the confined spaces of a jail cell where it is impossible to attain healthy distancing. Did this fool judge think at all about his decision before denying the woman her freedom?

It may be that the Democrats’ chickens have come home to roost, as Democrats’ executive orders kill people.

Democrat Predictions Of A New Normal May Be Correct, But Not What They Expected

Democrat politicians, most notably Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, have been salivating over the near-destruction of America by way of the shutdown of businesses, and they have been predicting that everything has changed with the virus shutdown, plus they’ve been demanding a series of leftist, radical, Socialist/Communist dream issues, inspired by Barack Obama and his intention to “fundamentally transform America”. Here is the foolishness that Democrats like Cuomo have been crowing about in a post-corona America: a new normal of public health, a new normal of environmental issues, a new normal in the economy and a new normal of social justice, all intended to change America and undermine our laws and our constitution, and deny President Trump his re-election in November. 

But what Democrats like Gov. Cuomo couldn’t foresee, due to their lack of understanding of the intelligence, flexibility and industriousness of American entrepreneurs and business owners, was that a “new normal” has already been established as the American economy has foundered under an official shutdown, and the people and businesses that Democrats hoped would suffer the most under this heavy burden have initiated basic changes to their businesses: drive-up restaurants, re-thought banking and loans, a new brand of at-home shopping and other ideas that have helped businesses survive and hopefully thrive, after the shutdown has ended. These things have also allowed entrepreneurs to imagine a new way of doing business on a permanent basis that could help them profit and deliver a better product at the same time, forever.

So the “new normal” that Democrats have called for and that they hoped would allow the political class to exercise more power and control over personal behavior and the conduct of small companies, has been thrown back in their faces by clever entrepreneurs and other hard working Americans.

Democrats hate profits and they hope endlessly that businesses will fail as they try to compete with each other. The problem Democrats come up against in such a situation is that when businesses fail, the government agencies that depend on the taxes from these entities find themselves short of revenue. And although Democrats hate the very concept and idea of profits, they love the money that comes from businesses making a profit. So Democrats like Andrew Cuomo dream of the “new normal”, as described above, which they hope will follow the destruction done by the coronavirus and the resulting shutdown, but when the owners of the impacted companies are able to devise new methods of delivering their product, Democrats lose a dependent that would have to resort to government handouts in order to stay alive, and Democrats are left with a reduced dependent class to vote for them and worship them. That’s the worst possible situation for vultures like Cuomo, Pelosi and Schumer to find themselves in, and it leaves them unable to force Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America” on the American populace.

Suing A Store Where You May Have Caught A Cold? Is This Insanity?

The entire world is in an insane downward spiral. In this season of the corona, I’ve heard that the reason many businesses will not re-open for business earlier than a Democrat mayor or governor will allow them to open is that the owners fear legal liability if someone catches a cold, or maybe the virus, while visiting their store or shop. This sort of thing, catching a cold after visiting a business, must happen tens of thousands of times each and every year as the cold and flu season descends on us. Viruses don’t ask permission to move about, and there’s no way to keep them from being inhaled as humans conduct their personal business.

But I’ve also never heard of a person claiming that a particular restaurant gave them a cold or the flu, and especially remote is the likeliness of the person suing the establishment and getting a judgment against the business. Is legal blame going to descend on businesses for cancer being possibly contracted on the premise? Is there a designated place where cancer and colds are contracted without someone being liable for them? How stupidly litigious can a society become? And can a mayor or governor make a business owner legally liable simply by the owner opening a shop that the official has ordered to remain closed?

How can one who brings a suit prove that any particular establishment housed the germ that infected them? Is the fault and the proof of guilt contained in the action taken in contradiction to the government official’s orders? Can American citizens be held legally liable for an act of nature, and is this covered in statute or in our constitution?

It is not only possible but likely that if this lawsuit thing goes forward, that someone could buy a food product at a store, get sick that night and capriciously blame contraction of an illness on the store. But unless the food item was not fully cooked or was not refrigerated properly or had some other defect that could be blamed on the store owner, and I don’t think colds or viruses are listed under that category, what fool would bring a legal action on one of the several establishments he/she visited during the previous week, and claim that that establishment alone, caused their illness?

But the threat of a lawsuit is intended by leftist governors and mayors to keep society firmly in line and to do as the dictatorial official says to do, period. Typical socialist-Democrat attitude.

Unconstitutional Healthcare Rules Again Threaten America’s Liberty And Prosperity

When President Barack Obama promised to “fundamentally transform America”, one of the main tools used to achieve that end, along with the loss of our liberties and our constitution, was the misleadingly named Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.

The ACA, forced on Americans by Democrats, provided packaged coverage that many people didn’t need and couldn’t afford, and was introduced as a foundation on which a single-payer, Socialistic, nationalized healthcare system could be built. From this foundation the American left hoped to be able to control and direct American citizens’ choices in health, food and personal activities, so they would do what the government told them to do, or else they would lose all of their healthcare coverage.

Then along came the coronavirus and the political left, never a group to allow a perfectly good national crisis to go to waste, convinced the nation to accept the notion of a national shutdown, for the citizen’s own good, of course. Leftist governors and mayors gleefully made everyone stop working, shut down privately owned companies, closed public parks, closed beaches, closed churches, forced everyone to wear masks, and forbade protests as we were unconstitutionally forced to do these things, even as we saw the loss of our businesses or our homes threatened because of a lack of money to pay bills.

With the election of Donald Trump to the White House the nation was able to get rid of the most obscene part of Obama’s ACA, the part that made the purchase of this Nazi plan mandatory. But now that the virus has allowed many Democrat governors and mayors to issue their own rules, that they are forcing the nation to abide by, the constitution-hating left has found a way to bring America to its knees, impoverish the middle class, deny healthcare to millions of people as the coronavirus monopolized healthcare facilities across the nation, to the exclusion of all illnesses not being the virus-of-the-day, thereby destroying the economic system and the healthcare system that were the envy of the world. 

With the realization that the national shutdown could be used to hurt President Trump in the 2020 election, Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America” may have finally arrived, as Democrats and never-Trumpers keep the pain applied and the strangulation in place. If anyone thinks that this lesson, dropped from heaven into the paws of the American left, will not be pushed to the maximum harm of the American public and will not be repeated during future cold and flu seasons and the sicknesses that accompany them, then you don’t understand the evil of the political left.

And just to be sure that there is no misunderstanding, the shutdown orders issued by President Trump were the result of his dependence on the advice of medical minds that were already present in the CDC, the NIH, and the FDA, each of which department had highly experienced and respected doctors and researchers whose advice he properly respected, so he took their advice to perform the shutdown, fully knowing the harm it would do to the economic boom he had built in three short years, but sincerely believing that it was the correct decision for the good of the nation.

The problem arose when these advisors predicted multiple-times more deaths than actually occurred; they predicted overflowing hospitals that would sap our health resources, most of which did not happen; and then they were unable to admit that they were wrong with their dire forecasts, so they doubled down and pushed for a longer shutdown interval and a slower recovery as businesses finally opened back up, all of which made the bad situation only worse.

I don’t blame President Trump for anything that’s happened, but in the future I hope he and every future president realizes that they should take the disease and pandemic predictions made by the medical people into consideration, but also rely more heavily on the damage done to America and our entire way of life if the economy is weakened by the medical advice, and come down on the side of making certain our economy remains intact and strong.

Is Joblessness Sustainable? It Is, If We Keep Our Nation In Shutdown.

As Americans watch in horror at the steep increase in unemployment each week as the idiotic national shutdown continues, it’s easy for talking heads to say that this is unsustainable. One understands the meaning of their words, but if we continue to allow Trump-hating, cowardly governors and mayors to insist on a hard and fast shutdown, the level of unemployment is unfortunately fully sustainable and is in fact inevitable, and will only get worse each week.

Joblessness will sustain itself, feed on itself and make the bad situation worse if we don’t do something about it quickly. This self-abuse must end and people must be allowed to re-establish their businesses and their personal lives, and employees must be allowed to get their jobs back.

In today’s Trump-hating, corrupt, big government political environment, the land of the free and the home of the brave have become the land of the locked-up and the home of the cowering and whimpering.

This unconstitutional stupidity must stop.
