According to an interview that Tucker Carlson had Monday night with a preacher at an Episcopal church in Washington, DC, religious liberals are now going to join the self-identity crowd and begin correcting we poor dumb fools on how to express ideas and belief in God.
The preacher Tucker was speaking with said that “gender limits us” in our thinking about God, so he wants for there to be a ban on saying “him” when referring to God. In my personal opinion, I believe that what increasingly “limits us” in this over-politicized and politically correct world is the total involvement of leftists in everything we do. Why is it more appropriate and liberating to think of God as a unicorn than as a man? Why would God being thought of as a woman be better? Why is gender such an touchy subject to liberals? After all, when bearded men are praised by liberals for thinking of themselves as gay, Thai women, what sense does any of this leftist insistence on political correctness make?
It’s not gender expression that liberated the western mind and allowed humans to prosper and seek wisdom, it was the end to religious control over vast populations and the end to the inquisition that liberated minds. And now we get these religious idiots living among the politically correct Washington swamp telling us to give up our hopelessly mundane habit of thinking about God as being a man? I would suggests that it’s the liberals making these demands that need to free their minds and allow them to think bit more freely and not be dictated to by the latest Washington fashion.
This kind of political talk sounds much like Barack Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America” pledge as he began his first year in office. It turned out that his efforts in this “transformation” led to many edicts from Washington that clear thinking would identify as dumping our society down a dark hole. For example, Obama sought not to defeat ISIS but to merely “contain” them as this evil bunch of men killed and raped across vast regions, apparently at the pleasure of Obama; Obama illegally opened our southern border to all immigrants, leading to many crimes against American citizens and an increasing number of people being here who hate America and came here only for the goodies liberals would hand out; sanctuary cities, and now sanctuary states, allow liberal mayors and governors to defy federal laws and protect criminals that are preying on other immigrants; the FBI plotted with the Democrat candidate for president in 2016 to keep the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, out of office, and then began corrupt and prohibited procedures to get him impeached using totally false documents to do so and using these false documents to convince the FISA court to spy on Trump’s campaign. More recently Nancy Pelosi lied that lowering taxes would cause Armageddon and sink our economy, when any thinking person knows that exact opposite is what will happen when people are freed from government control over their lives. I’m sick of intrusive and lying politics being always in my face and in my way.
So why would anyone be surprised when preachers lecture us that we will be unlimited in our thinking when we think of God as being a green, Japanese chipmunk?
