Statement from the Candidate

In 2010 I ran an unsuccessful campaign for the United States Congress, but I'm still posting blogs that I believe express an opinion that most other people miss, and that I also believe can make America great again and cast off the yoke of liberal/progressive control that is currently in place.

Attention Young Democrats: Capitalism Is Not A Form Of Government, But Communism Is

One hears a report that the Chinese Communists think America should learn from their example and ban guns in our society. If we really wanted lessons from China we’d begin running military tanks over young demonstrators (look up Tiananmen Square for a picture of how the Chinese treat young people they disagree with and want to silence) and outlawing news reports that we don’t want to be exposed to the world, but Chinese lies are not the issue here. Instead it’s the innocence, and dare I say it, the willful stupidity, of too many young Americans who believe the anti-American crap  being spread about life in this nation.

In the current atmosphere of societal and governmental ignorance on the part of many high school and college students, and fearing that American youth will agree with the lying Communist Chinese,  today’s youth should know that the Chinese Communists ban weapons from their population because they are absolute dictators and they fear an uprising from the Chinese population if people had the ability to defend themselves and oppose the rulers of the Chinese totalitarian rule.

Young people should also know that Communism is a form of government that controls the population of the nation practicing it, completely and absolutely, and it also dictates economic practices for the nation, whereas the United States has a less centralized federal form of government with a Constitution that assures our citizens, among numerous other things, the freedom of speech and the right of possession of self-defense weapons, and our Capitalist economic system assures that iPhones, central heating for our homes, freedom of travel and internet access can exist amidst general economic prosperity.

When a government controls a nation’s economy, the population living in that nation live unpleasant and often miserable lives. Even the few people living in the United Sates who earn little relative income, live comfortable lives, so one should be smart enough to let their eyes and intelligence  be their guide as to where they’d rather live and which nation allows its citizens to live the best lives.

As one travels around the world one sees people in third world, impoverished countries who work for poverty wages and yet give abundant evidence that they are highly intelligent, bright people who, if they were living in the United States, would be employed in high paying jobs. But since they live in a backward, non-democratic, non-capitalist or often Socialist nation they are not employed at the level of their ability and therefore have limited income and no expectation of their situation improving.

Americans are freer than any other nation because we have a constitution that assures our people a free press, free speech, and the right to possess self-defense weapons, and our population is wealthier because our government allows capitalism to flourish to the benefit of everyone.  Americans must be very careful that the liberal political leanings of the last 40-or-so years do not destroy the wealth and freedom we have had for over 200 years. Most of the world is poor and live unpleasant lives, and we’ll join that unfortunate majority if we don’t protect the rights assured by our constitution.
